Return & Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty
Lifco warranties its products for 12 months, that it will be free from defects under normal service. The warranty is applicable only when the products are installed and used in accordance with its instructions, plus any other applicable regulations.
All claims are FOB at the original sale location.  This means that the goods must be returned prepaid to Lifco or its manufacturers, whichever applicable.
If a defect is found and the warranty claim is accepted, then Lifco will repair or replace and make it available FOB at the original sale location.
Important: If you believe you have a valid warranty claim and you return the unit, but cannot wait for the warranty claim to be resolved and order a replacement unit, then you will now own 2x units, regardless of the claim against the original unit being accepted or denied.
Lifco explicitly disclaims liability for any special consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. Lifco makes no warranty to the merchantability and fitness of a product for a particular purpose, when used alone or in a combination with any other products or materials.
The exclusive remedy of The Buyer shall be a right of action to recover damages limited to the purchase price of the merchandise, as may be defective, less its salvage value. The Seller shall not be liable hereunder to The Buyer or others claiming through The Buyer for special or consequential damages for any reason whatsoever whether such cause to be based on theories of contract, negligence, strict liability, tort or otherwise.
The Seller neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume for The Seller any other liability in connection with the sale and/or use of said merchandise. This warranty shall not apply to any merchandise which shall have been repaired or altered outside The Seller’s factory in any way so as, in the judgement of The Seller to affect its performance, nor to any merchandise which shall have been installed or operated contrary to our instructions.
If The Seller furnishes technical advice to The Buyer, whether or not a Buyer’s request, with respect to application, further manufacture or other use of products and parts, The Seller shall not be liable for such technical advice and The Buyer assumes all risks of such advice and the results thereof.
This agreement shall be construed and the rights and obligations of the parties hereto under this agreement shall be determined in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario or State of New York.
Warranty Coverage:   Warranty coverage applies for 1 year after date of purchase, regardless of date of installation. There is no warranty on electronics because of the inability to determine cause of failure.  Only applies to repairs where the full repair recommendation was purchased.
Warranty Policy : Lifco strives to deliver only the highest quality parts and components. All our products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from delivery, unless stated otherwise. Should a problem occur during this period, please bring it to our attention immediately. Any unit to be considered for warranty coverage must be returned to our plant for inspection, freight prepaid. If it is determined that the unit is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace it at no charge. This warranty does not cover units which have been disassembled or repaired by anyone other than Lifco, nor failure to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or tampering, and does not cover any customer loss or expense resulting from the unit being out of operation. The unit must be operated according to the original manufacturer’s specifications, otherwise this warranty is null and void. If a replacement has been shipped and the warranty is void, the original unit will be restocked at a minimum of 25%.
Returns : If a non-defective, unused unit must be returned, please notify our sales department within 10 business days from receipt of goods to receiving a Returned Merchandise Authorization number. All items must be returned freight prepaid with a packing list referring to the RGA #. A credit memo will be issued for items less a restocking charge. Returns are at Lifco's discretion. In the case of a lost or damaged package, Lifco will try to replace it when possible at a heavily discounted rate.
